The costs for this project is relatively fixed due to its straight forward and simple design. The only real variable cost would be the thickness of the leather you chose to use. You can use any leather for these and get the desired visual effect, so for stage work it’s a cheap good looking prop. With a good veg died side you can also tool the leather as you desire with great ease.

We have had to make some changes to how we offer our patterns now in armor geek. In the past we have offered them totally free of charge with the hope that our donate link would help offset our operational costs of the site. As it turns it hasn't and I find myself somewhat tired of offering a totally on my dime service. our patterns are now offered through our etsy store at a extremely fare price. We also now offer some kits for our projects through etsy that include all the materials required to make a project. If you don't see a kit for a project we offer please ask and we will produce it as soon as possible for you. Our patterns are offered in electronic format and once you have your received your copy of the pattern you can print it in multiple pages and tape them together or you can take them to Kinko’s and get them printed on their large format printers for 5-10 dollars.
